Marketing planning for Kaitiaki Kindergartens

Kaitiaki Kindergartens is an association of 14 centres across the North and West of Auckland. When they engaged us, they had no specific marketing capability in-house and were keen to start building brand awareness.

Initially we supported them with a digital advertising campaign and social media communications. At the end of 2024 it was clear a wider review and refresh was needed of their approach to marketing communications.

We undertook research and facilitated engagement for a strategic marketing plan, working with their Chief Executive and Support Office team. One of the outputs of this was their first officially coordinated Open Week which we produced with the help of a design agency in Autumn 2025.

Over nine months working together we set up key marketing systems to form the base of their marketing engine, built skills with key team members and provided direction for their marketing efforts, resulting in increased internal capability and confidence going forward.

"Working with Nikki at Impact Digital has meant we could have the value of a professional marketer to support our mahi at a reasonable cost. Nikki has been a thoughtful collaborator that listens and responds to the needs of our organisation, as well as adding additional value through her sector knowledge and contacts. For me personally Nikki's conversations draw out ideas and challenge assumptions to ensure we get the right message out. In our short time working with Nikki we have already seen a huge increase in our online presence. I'm excited to continue our work into the New Year."
