These days, websites can often be built entirely code-free. That means no reliance on a developer, the freedom for marketing teams to make edits and updates themselves, and greater control over your brand’s marketing and communications. Sounds dreamy, right?
So, what’s the catch?
In some cases, there may be slightly less customisation than when working with a developer. Complex animations or highly bespoke functionality can be harder to achieve. But for most marketing websites, these extras aren’t essential.
Ultimately, it comes down to the purpose of your website. And for many businesses, an out-of-the-box solution is more than sufficient.
You can still customise templates with your own branding, integrate tools like Google Analytics, and add pop-ups for Mailchimp subscriptions. Many of these features have become so commonplace that they’re now built in as standard.
There’s also the added benefit of integrated hosting and automatic updates. Thanks to the scale of the companies behind these platforms, downtime is minimal. Some of our favourites include Webflow and Squarespace.
If having more control over your website sounds appealing — and you’d like to explore whether this approach could work for your business — let’s talk. We can help assess your unique needs and determine whether a solution like this is the right fit for your organisation.
